# GDDS Rolebook

*The GDDS Rolebook is a companion document to the Green Deal Data Space (GDDS) Rulebook. Where the Rulebook establishes the overall governance structure, legal framework, and participation lifecycle, the Rolebook operationalises those rules into role-specific playbooks.*

*For each GDDS participant role, the Rolebook defines what that role is, what the participant holding it is permitted to do, what they are obligated to do, what technical requirements they must meet, and what service level standards apply to them.*

*The Rolebook does not replace the Rulebook. It complements it. Any conflict between the two documents shall be resolved in favour of the Rulebook.*
